Spring Porch ideas I love…

Front Porch Frenzy! Decisions…. Decisions…

It finally feels like spring here in the Midwest! We have had temps in the upper 70s. It is such a good feeling; it has been a brutal winter with the cold and 2 blizzards! I really dislike winters.

This weather has me ready to get my porch and patio ready for the spring season! I am always ready for my first trip to the greenhouse! I went to the greenhouse last Saturday; and some pansies and violas found their way to my car. I couldn’t resist. That got me thinking that I need a new spring rug and door mat on the porch. I looked on Amazon and gosh – too many cute ones. I can’t decide what I like best. Usually, I will pick something that can be used for more than 1 season, but there a couple that just really seem spring only.

I am having a hard time deciding, but I will be happy to share what I finally decide on when it arrives.

I can’t believe all the cute options available to freshen your front porch this season. I love the Aqua Checked Rug, the Striped Rug is lovely, and the gray check is very versatile for several seasons. I love the pop of bright green on the Hello Mat, the Tulip Mat is so fun and the Welcome Mat with Daisies could be spring and summer! I really love the Spring Floral Mat on it, so fun with all the flowers on my porch.

I really love these options also. The Blue Cotton Rug is really nice. I love blue and white. I love the Bunny Mat, the Bright Floral Mat, the Hello Sunshine Mat and the Welcome Mat with the Daisy could also carry through to the summer months. I think the topiaries are so classic. I once had a live 2 ball topiary by my door and just loved it. I brought it indoors to winter over and sadly, it didn’t survive. I think I might have to get one of these. so classic and it could use it year round.

I found these fun Bunny Head Topiaries! They are just delightful! I think I would add a different ribbon to them, but how fun! I may just have to give those some thought. I thought that it might be fun to put a watering can on the porch this year. I need a new one as mine all have leaks this year. I am ordering the Galvanized Watering Can for my home, the rose is removable. The Blue Watering Can is also fun, if you would like the pop of color. I also needed a New Hand Trowel this year. this one looks like it has a nice point for planting. The Pillows are lovely and such a perfect blue for the season. I think I may use them into the summer as I have loved adding this to my 4th of July decor with the red instead of the traditional blue.

Do you have plans to freshen your front porch? I usually start by hosing off the front of the house and clean the windows and storm door. Then I have to wipe down the bench and possibly paint it. It is currently a dark blue that matches my front door. I can’t decide if I should paint it a different color or not this season. I have one thing that I have ordered and I can’t wait to get it. A raffia bunny. I might put it by the front door, or put it on my plant stand…. time will tell, I won’t know until it arrives.

I hope these ideas inspire a new fun look for you. You can decide how simple or detailed you go depending on your taste and let’s face it, budget and also time. Remember to shop your stash, we all have one and so many things can be used in so many different ways. Be sure to comment and share pictures of how you deck out your front porch for the season. It is great to share ideas, we all need inspiration. I will be sure to share how I style everything when my items arrive. I ordered them yesterday, but they won’t be here until the end of the week.

I have some other fun ideas leading up to Easter, so be sure to keep checking in. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit.

Cheers!

Chenn
